Bob Spinazzola

Bob canoe 2Bob has been a M.A.M.A.S. board member for eight years, serving many functions during that time. He has awakened in the wee hours and gotten our bi-monthly dog transport off and running well before dawn, has served several tours of duty managing the shelter, and now uses the Internet to coordinate our private puppy adoptions. He is very proud that, thanks to much support, M.A.M.A.S. has been able to save many thousands of dogs.
Bob believes science and reason are the very best tools we have available to solve the daunting problems facing humanity and save our increasingly fragile planet. His ever growing awareness of the difficulties dogs face in the rural South has evolved to a life that refuses to support those who would exploit the suffering of our fellow sentient beings for profit. He lives in chaos on the Carolina coast near Charleston, with his six precious misfit shelter dogs, all much loved, and one special long-term M.A.M.A.S. foster who is still in search of a family of his own.
