We can’t have a website that does not acknowledge all the angels out there, beyond M.A.M.A.S. walls, who contribute so greatly to our existence. It takes a huge team of dedicated, beautiful souls to accomplish what we are so proud to be able to do, and that team does not stop with M.A.M.A.S. board members and staff. Without all of you who donate endlessly, from your pocketbooks, your hard work, and commit part of your very lives – we don’t exist, at least in the capacity we have been able to.
A very heartfelt thank you goes out to each and every person who scrapes up those hard earned dollars and entrusts those of us here at M.A.M.A.S. to use them wisely. For every volunteer who helps in ANY way – updating our Petfinder pages, posting on Facebook, planning events, donning those latex gloves and going to work to assist in keeping puppies clean and healthy. Those who give a lonely dog a walk, or just sits in a kennel to reassure a scared, lonely soul that life WILL be better. Every person who runs an errand, pitches in and helps in ANY way at M.A.M.A.S. Every driver who loads up his/her car with a bunch of dogs every other Saturday – just because you care – and drives that one important leg to get them a little closer to that life they dream of. Every overnighter who opens their home to a guest on Saturday nights, then packs them back up and on the road Sunday a.m. – one step closer to safety. Every coordinator, who works diligently to bed for those drivers and overnighters to help – over and over again, dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s, up until the wee hours sometimes, working on those runsheets. Every person who decides that M.A.M.A.S. is worth your time to arrange or participate in work weekends (you know who you are), sometimes coming from far off distances – because you see, you care, you understand our vision. Every foster, short or long term who opens their doors to one in need, You are ALL part of M.A.M.A.S., and we couldn’t be prouder. Daily life here at M.A.M.A.S. – “in the trenches” so to speak, although fulfilling, can be emotionally draining, as well as physically taxing at times, and without you, we can assure you, we could not continue. Our dream is that one day, every dog born will have a kind and loving home. Until then, with your help, we will continue to fight the fight and speak for those who can’t speak for themselves. And a VERY SPECIAL thank you to Charlotte Rinderknecht and Bobbi Harris. Without them, we would not have this website. Thank you, Team M.A.M.A.S.!
